The intention of this site is to provide an interesting retrospective to our days in the military, a place to discuss those days,  as well as a place for old friends and newly created friends to discuss the present. We hope to do this by offering ways for people to communicate, or even just offer a place for you to see who is where and doing what, or perhaps how to contact them.

Privacy will be protected at all times, and at least a modicum of decency will be upheld. We highly encourage that people take any highly charged or contentious issues they may have with each other (or with the world in general) to private email, as well as anything that would likely offend others, such as highly violent graphics or pictures, XXX sexual pictures, over the line jokes, etc... This is not intended to be a truck stop, bar, or mens club.

This is not a political, nor religious, nor any other kind of  "platform". Nor is it intended to be an area completely devoid of such discussion. There is no intent to stifle communication that is respectful in origin- but obvious attempts to bait or flame or incite people to anger will most likely be followed by encouraging the discussion go to email between those involved, or, deletion of the posts, or both.

We wish to support actions that are conducive to keeping a forum as friendly and welcoming for all as possible. 

It is our intention that this forum not spiral down into that kind of "agenda" driven forum, as has been seen before on some sites-
excepting one agenda- the agenda of old friends having fun getting back together, and sharing some of the past and present toghether.

Yes- we are former military- maybe with rough edges on our pasts- perhaps mostly men will see these pages. Some of us might be trying to show our kids pictures of what Daddy or Mom did, and we don't want to stumble across something only grown men (or adolescent boys) should see; and some of us have changed perhaps to a point where they wish to avoid some of the more stark parts of the past.
So please, if you think it might offend someone, remember this is a public forum, and remember the goal of this site is to bring people of all stripes, so to speak, back together on a common bond we all share.
