Which Units Are Here....??? 1st FA Det. (early days of 570th); 4th USAFAD; 9th USAFAD; 15th USAFAD; 22nd USAFAD; 26th USAFAD; 27th Ord. Co.; 69th USAFAD; 570th HQ; 583rd Ord. Co. Each Unit has its own folder within this site, the contents of which becomes available to you after you register. Please remember- everyone from the 5th USAAG (which pre-dated the 570th as HQ for some of these units), as well as ANYONE else who served at a USAFAD throughout Europe, or served in the 59th Ord. Closed forum - Reunion Planning The purpose of this forum is to provide a closed environment for the finalization of reunion plans for larger reunions. Granted, these may only happen every 3, 5 years, or even farther apart- so traffic may be sporadic or nonexistent for some time. However, since the issue has come up lately, this forum was created to allow for a secure and private area for members ideas and plans that are discussed in "Reunion Discussion/Suggestion Forum" (above) to take place. 1st FA Det The 1st FA Detachment existed within the 570th before many of the other units. Records show the unit within the 570th in the early 1960's. Subsequently, the 1st FA Det wound up changing in a reorganization to the 5th USAAG, probably about the same time that other units changed to the 570th... around 1978 or so... They are listed here as the "1st FA Detachment" as that is most likely what those who were stationed at the 1st will remember it as, when it was under the command the 570th. Moderator Marc Servos |

583rd Ordnance Company The 583rd worked hard- Tech Inspections, Nuclear Accident Training, TDY to the dets... and played hard too- at the club "Toga Toga Toga", and at the PX Building, or spending weekends at "The Lake".
